Effective date: 18 August 2026 · Datgel Asia Pte. Ltd. (UEN 201132358H)
You may withdraw from this contract within 14 days of concluding it, without giving any reason.
This page explains that right in full and gives you the model withdrawal form. It forms part of the Refund & Cancellation Policy and the Terms of Use for Zen Reader, operated by Datgel Asia Pte. Ltd. (UEN 201132358H).
Who this applies to
Every Zen Reader customer, wherever you live. Consumers in the European Union (under the Consumer Rights Directive) and the United Kingdom (under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) have this as a statutory right. We give everyone else exactly the same right as a contractual promise, on the same terms — you do not have to be in the EU or UK, and you never have to tell us where you live to use it.
This is in addition to, and never limits, your rights under the consumer-protection laws that apply where you live — see “Your statutory rights” in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
The 14 days
The period runs for 14 days from the day the contract is concluded — that is, the day you subscribe. Because a subscription starts at sign-up, including when it starts as a free trial, the 14 days run from that day. They do not restart when a free trial converts to a paid plan, provided the paid price was clearly disclosed when you signed up.
You have met the deadline as long as you send your notice before the 14 days are up — it does not matter when it reaches us.
How to withdraw
Tell us within the 14 days by any clear statement. Any one of these is enough — you do not need to use the model form below, and you never have to give a reason:
- On this website, without signing in. Use the withdrawal function on our cancel or withdraw page, linked from the footer of every page. It takes effect the moment you submit it, and we email you a confirmation with the date and time.
- From your account. Sign in and use the cancellation option in your account.
- By email. Send an unequivocal statement to hello@zenreader.co, ideally from the address your subscription runs under.
- By post. Write to Datgel Asia Pte. Ltd., 1 North Bridge Road, #08-08 High Street Centre, Singapore 179094.
What happens then
- Your subscription ends. Withdrawal ends the contract from the moment you tell us, and you are not charged again.
- We refund you. We refund all payments received for the subscription without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after you tell us, to your original payment method. There is no fee for withdrawing.
- If you withdraw during a free trial, you pay nothing. Nothing has been charged, so there is nothing to refund.
- If you asked us to start straight away. When you subscribe you expressly ask us to begin providing the service during the withdrawal period, so that you can use Zen Reader immediately. If you then withdraw after use has begun, we may deduct a proportionate amount for the part of the service already supplied. Otherwise the refund is in full.

Questions
If anything here is unclear, email hello@zenreader.co before the 14 days are up and we will help. Asking a question does not by itself withdraw you from the contract — send the notice as well if that is what you want.
