Effective date: 1 July 2026 · Datgel Asia Pte. Ltd. (UEN 201132358H)
Our apps are calm, family spaces — often used by children. This policy keeps them that way.
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) forms part of the Terms of Use for the Datgel consumer application through which you reached it, together with its related website and online services (the “Service”), operated by Datgel Asia Pte. Ltd. (UEN 201132358H). By using the Service you agree to this AUP.
Only upload content you have the right to use
You may import, scan or create content in the App only if you own it or are otherwise permitted to use it for personal, non-commercial use within your family. You must not upload material that infringes copyright or other intellectual-property rights, or that contains other people’s personal data without a lawful basis. You are responsible for the content you add.
Prohibited conduct
When using the Service, you must not:
- break any applicable law or regulation, or encourage others to do so;
- upload, store or share content that is unlawful, infringing, harmful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate — especially given that children use our apps;
- upload malware, or content designed to disrupt, damage or gain unauthorised access to any system or data;
- attempt to probe, scan, breach or circumvent the security, authentication, licensing or access controls of the Service, or access another family’s data;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service, its infrastructure, or other users’ use of it (for example through excessive automated requests);
- use bots, scrapers or other automated means to access the Service, except as we expressly permit;
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software except as permitted by law or the EULA;
- resell, redistribute or commercially exploit the Service, or use it to build a competing product;
- impersonate any person, misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or add a child to a family without the authority to do so; or
- misuse family features — for example to harass, monitor or share the data of a family member in a way that is unlawful or without appropriate authority.
Keeping children safe
Where an App is intended for or used by children, it is intended to be set up and supervised by a responsible adult. Adults who manage a family are responsible for the content assigned to child members and for supervising children’s use. Do not use the Service to collect, store or share a child’s data without the authority of the child’s parent or guardian.
Reporting misuse
If you become aware of content or conduct that breaches this AUP, or of a security concern, please tell us at hello@zenreader.co so we can look into it.
Consequences of breach
If you breach this AUP, we may remove offending content, and suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice depending on the severity. We may also take steps required by law and cooperate with authorities where appropriate. Our rights are described more fully in the Terms of Use.
Changes
We may change this AUP from time to time. We reserve the right to update it at any time. When we make a material change, we will take reasonable steps to notify you before it takes effect — for example by posting a notice in the App, updating the effective date above, and/or emailing the address associated with your account. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated AUP.
