Delete your account and data
How to request deletion
You can ask us to permanently delete your Zen Reader account and all data associated with it at any time. To make a request, email us from the email address you use to sign in to Zen Reader:
Use the subject line “Delete my account”. Sending the request from your sign-in address lets us verify it is really you. If you are a Family Manager, tell us whether you want only your own account removed or the entire family and its shared library deleted.
What we delete
Your account and profile, your reading recordings, books and pages you uploaded, your reading sessions, scores and progress history, and your family membership. Once deleted, this data cannot be recovered.
Timing & retention
We action deletion requests within 30 days. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged on our normal backup-rotation cycle. We keep only the minimum records we are legally required to retain, after which those are deleted too.
Prefer not to delete everything? You can also remove individual books and recordings from inside the app without deleting your whole account.
