Create your free family account
Go to zenreader.co/tiers, choose a plan, and sign in with your email (we send a one-time code — no password). Enter the code PREVIEW and the plan unlocks free — you won’t be asked for a card.
Get the app on your devices
Install Zen Reader on whichever devices your family uses and sign in with the same email. iPhone/iPad and Android run through Apple’s and Google’s official testing programmes during the preview — that’s normal, and updates arrive automatically.
Read together — then tell us about it
Add a book (import a PDF or scan a paper book), have your child read a few pages aloud, and see the results. Then tell us what delighted you and what didn’t — both are gold.

Is it really free? What’s the catch?
Really free, for one month, and there is no catch. We never ask for a card, so nothing can auto-charge — there is nothing to cancel. When the free month ends, the app asks whether you’d like to subscribe; if you don’t, you simply stop there.
What does “preview” mean — is the app unfinished?
The app is complete and families (including ours) use it every day. “Preview” means the mobile apps are distributed through Apple’s TestFlight and Google Play’s testing programme while we finish our public store launch — and that we’re actively polishing based on what preview families tell us. You may meet the occasional rough edge; that’s exactly what your feedback fixes.
Which languages does it support?
Reading practice currently focuses on Simplified Chinese — perfect for children learning Chinese at school or at home. The app’s own menus are available in English, Chinese and ten other languages. More reading languages are on the roadmap.
Is my child’s data safe?
Yes. Accounts are family-scoped, recordings and reading history are private to your family, and we don’t sell or share personal data. See our privacy policy for the full picture.
What happens after the free month?
You decide. If Zen Reader earned a place in your family’s routine, you can subscribe at zenreader.co/tiers. If not, your account simply pauses — nothing is charged, and your library and progress are kept safe in case you return.
